The BGM PRO pressure plate with needle bearings is suitable for all clutches of the category Vespa Smallframe. These include e.g. V50, 50N, V90, SS50/90, PV125, ET3 as well as all PK models (PK S, PK XL and PK Xl2 - exception: automatic vehicles).

BENEFITS
The advantage of this needle bearing mounted pressure plate made of high strength steel is the extremely improved sliding properties due to the integrated needle bearing AXK 1024. This was also used in the clutches of KTM cross engines with 500ccm and over 60hp performance, among others, and is therefore absolutely mature and designed for this application.

Due to its design as a thrust bearing it is designed to absorb lateral forces. Therefore it is perfectly suited to minimize the operating forces, especially when using tight clutch springs.

The conventional technology used by Piaggio ex works (with pressure mushroom made of sintered bronze) quickly reaches its limits at high speeds and/or strong clutch springs. The bearing is always adequately supplied with oil through six generous lubrication holes.

Assembly
The pressure plate is very easy to install. It is simply inserted into the bore and secured by a pre-assembled O-ring. Dismantling is just as easy, no more fiddling with a safety wire.

SPARE PARTS
We offer both the bearing and the bearing starting plate as spare parts. This means that the pressure plate can always be revised or rebuilt in case of loss.
