Upper spring plate for BGM Pro SC/F1 Sport Shock absorbers as used in series since March 2017.
The previously sold shocks (lot no. SC-15F and SC-16F) use a much flatter plate (10mm height overall).
The version offered here is lowered and can be used as a conversion plate for the older shocks. So the older damper types (before 2017) can be shortened by 10mm without loosing spring travel.
ASSEMBLY
Reduce the spring preload to the minimum (loosen the plastic grub screw in the threaded ring and turn the threaded ring downwards). Compress the spring (preferably in pairs) and unthread the spring plate at its recess around the piston rod. Installation of the new spring plate in reverse order.
NOTE
Fits only BGM Pro Sport shock absorbers (without reservoir/damper adjustment). The BGM Pro Competition shock absorbers (with expansion tank/damper adjustment) can be lowered with BGM7783ADJ165.
