STORAGE MATERIAL Crankshaft >/strong>
The bearing type we use for the crankshaft has a reinforced but light and friction-optimized ETN9 polymide ball cage. The rotating mass of ETN9 bearings is a whopping 18gr. less per bearing compared to the MA versions (with riveted brass cage). The ETN9 bearing can therefore easily follow the fast speed changes that often occur with a two-stroke engine. Due to the good sliding properties of the polyamide 66 bearing cage it glides better and does not heat up as much. It therefore has a longer service life than bearing types with steel/brass cage. For these reasons and based on our own experience we recommend the ETN9 bearing type.
