Fork oil is far from being fork oil!
This fork oil was developed by the Wilbers-BMW-Racing IDM Superbike Team.
Not only the fork from former times requires high quality fork oil. In the past there was the twin-tube damping system, where simple bores determined the flow rate of the fork oil and thus produced a kind of damping or deceleration, but today there are very modern cartridges, closed or open.
The modern telescopic fork, mostly equipped with shim controlled pistons, needs a high quality fork oil and this has nothing to do with the fork oil of suspension laymen.
The motorsport activities with BMW in the IDM Superbike offer Wilbers exactly the stage that is needed to further develop existing products in order to make them available to you.
