For pinions, only steel 16 MnCR 5 is machined to OEM quality on high precision CNC lathes. Thanks to the specialGearing processes as well as a
case hardening of 700 HV 40 at an insert depth of 0.4mm meet our sprockets
highest quality requirements. Through modern broaching machines we guaranteean exact
fitting dimension on the drive shaft with a radial and axial run-out tolerance of less than 0.1mm.
