Die USB-Bordsteckdose (max. 2,1A) setzt die Eingangsspannung von 12V auf USB-Standard 5V um.
Das Gehäuse (Schutzart IPX3) mit 1,5 m Anschlussleitung und Batteriekabelschuhen erlaubt den flexiblen Einbau am Lenker- oder Rohrgestänge mit Kabelbindern. Anders als bei vergleichbaren Steckdosen ist ein Federklappdeckel montiert, der nach Gebrauch automatisch verschließt und im Fahrbetrieb nicht lose im Fahrtwind flattert, sondern am eingesteckten USB-Stecker anliegt.
Der integrierte On/Off-Schalter bietet die Abschaltung der USB-Dose nach Gebrauch und verhindert so den permanenten Stromverbrauch. Quittiert wird der Einschaltzustand mit der integrierten Betriebs-LED.
Optionales Zubehör: Mit der schmalen Schraubhalterung ZAH kann die Steckdose am Gestänge oder Lenker (22-28 mm) auch komfortabel ohne Kabelbinder montiert werden.
