In this variator, the weights are not mounted inside, but outside. It is a so-called oversize variator, which is designed for 50cc and 70cc race engines. The tilting weights are easily accessible from the outside and screwed onto a retaining plate, a matching Allen wrench is included. Also included are 12 weights that can be used to modify the variator as desired. We recommend this variator in combination with a Doppler ER1 engine spring to use.
This variator can not be driven with the original clutch!
