Malossi strengthened counterpressure springs for rear Malossi convertors on 125 and 150cc Suzuki maxi-scooters. Counterpressure springs place the drive belt under tension, preventing slippage, for increased drive. Ideal for tuned engines with slipping belts. Straight swap for the original.
Unfortunately, Malossi does not give any indication of percentage change in relation to the OEM spring on Maxi scooters. However, Malossi indicates the spring stiffness (K) and the length of the spring. Thus, the springs can at least compare with each other. In principle applies to Maxiscooter:
1. green springs are softer than the OEM spring
2. all other springs are stiffer than the OEM spring
3. the higher the (K) value, the stiffer the spring
4. at the same (K) value, the longer spring is stiffer
