However, the throttle cable offered here has an inner PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) sliding sleeve. The high self-lubricating properties of PTFE material allow a durable, very easy sliding process without the need for additional lubrication.
Never lubricate PTFE slides subsequently, as lubricants lead to swelling of the sliding material and thus have exactly the opposite effect.
