Before the first start, note the following when setting the rest position: both notches must match. Open the bleed screw for venting the oil pump. Fill oil pump using a syringe and 2-stroke oil. Close the bleed screw. Incorrect procedure or not filling / venting of the oil pump can damage the new pumpand lead to engine failure.
