78,5cc Tech-Piston cylinder kit from Airsal. Supplied complete with all components required for assembly, such as seal kit, piston, piston rings, etc.
The 78.5cc Tech-Piston is exactly the same as the 78.5cc Racing in terms of timing and also features the large 2-piece exhaust. The difference is in the compression ratio. The outlet offers sufficient performance potential and the kit is equipped with a very high quality brand name piston (Mahle or Vertex).
These pistons are made of a particularly resistant aluminium alloy and reduce the risk of piston seizure.
The aluminium design of the cylinders and the extremely hard chrome-plated raceway coating ensure significantly better heat dissipation compared to grey cast iron. This makes the cylinders less susceptible to wear and tear and piston jamming due to temperature problems.
The piston crown of the Tech-Piston is crowned and in combination with the special cylinder head leads to very good compression values. The piston is equipped with only one piston ring, reduces friction losses and thus provides the last remaining engine power. MAHLE, the world's largest piston manufacturer, uses a particularly resistant aluminum alloy and further reduces the risk of piston seizure.
