NGK supplies a spark plug as it is assembled in the vehicle ex works. The heat value and plug construction correspond to the original.
The service life of a plug is determined by the fuel type, the engine condition, the operating times and the engine temperature. For 4-stroke engines from 250ccm the plugs should be cleaned or replaced after 6000km. For smaller displacement, especially for 2-stroke engines, approx. every 2500km. Oil carbon deposits already lead to starting difficulties after this mileage and loss of power caused by the spark plug. Increased short-distance operation and poor engine oil quality can shorten the intervals.
