LOCTITE® 5926 is cured by atmospheric moisture to form a permanently elastic silicone sealant. This product resists aging, weathering and thermal cycling without hardening, cracking or shrinking. Typical applications include valve covers, engine housings, engine housing covers, timing covers, differential housing covers, oil pans, transmission oil pans, water pumps, thermostat housings and more. Typical applications for this product are those with an operating temperature range of -54°C to 204°C.
NOTE: Not recommended for parts in contact with gasoline.
