The handlebar U-bolt base is a 1-inch (25.4mm) rubber ball designed to sit at right angles to the support bar. The stainless steel coated metal U-bolt accepts rods from 1 inch (25.4 mm) to 32 mm in diameter. The base also contains black cover caps, which are placed over the exposed ends of the U-brackets.
