Yuasa NP batteries have excellent recovery properties after deep discharge combined with a long service life in floating charge mode and are therefore suitable for numerous applications in cyclic and floating charge mode.
The electrolyte is bound in a fleece and is also approved for aircraft (IATA).
We recommend the JMP 4000 charger for charging and maintenance.
Charging in cyclic operation:
The charging voltage should be between 2.35 and 2.5 V/cell.
The max. charging current must be limited to 0.25 C(A) in cyclic operation.
The charging time should not exceed 24 hours.
Charging in floating charge mode:
The charging voltage should be between 2.25 and 2.3 V/cell.
The max. charging current does not need to be limited in floating charge mode.
The battery can be considered charged when the residual charge current has reached a value of 0.002 C(A).
