The sport steel sprockets are significantly lighter, compared to conventional steel sprockets. The weight is reduced through specific drilling.
For pinions, only 16 MnCR 5 steel is machined to OEM quality on high precision CNC lathes.
Thanks to the special toothing process and a case hardening of 700 HV 40 at an insert depth of 0.4mm, these pinions meet the highest quality requirements.
By means of modern broaching machines ESJOT guarantees an exact fitting dimension on the drive shaft with a radial and axial run-out tolerance of less than 0.1mm.
