Fitting a big bore kit does not always give the expected increased top speed, it certainly improves acceleration but not top speed. Why?
This often down to the short gear ratios on your scooter, so if you find this is the case, the only way to combat is by changing the gears to larger ones.
Here we have a larger gear version from well known performance manufacturer Naraku. These gears are 35% longer compared to the original (18/36 teeth) which will provide higher top speed without loosing power on acceleration.
These gears fit to all Chinese 125cc and 150cc GY6 engines (152/157QMI). This gear up kit is designed for use with the 160cc cylinder kit.
Please note: There are variants within the imported Chinese scooters so we would seriously recommend you to remove the old gears and ensure counting the number of teeth prior to purchase.
